I'm a relatively new mac user as well so any help would be appreciated since I obviously don't want to spend money on purchasing Crossover if I can't use the program I'm getting it for. Thanks in advance.

How To Install Tally On Mac Using Crossover Software
- I don't have a Mac running, so please ignore me if this is wrong.
But in http://forum.profantasy.com/comments.php?DiscussionID=5607&page=1#Item_2 the_3l3phant pointed to http://rpgmaps.profantasy.com/?p=3667 containing a detailled installation guide, maybe there a hint is hidden? - That is the installation guide I used when installing. However it is only a guide. No troubleshooting to be had from it really.
- if you click on the 'i' next to the bottle name crossover will list the items installed in that bottle , you may need some additional runtime stuff , perhaps you can list what you have installed and i will see if it matched mine

- Rob? Do you mean the CC3+ bottle? I'm having the same problem, same error message.

- Yes the cc3+ bottle name will have an 'I' next to it and will list the additional programs that are needed , also do not try to install into an Xp bottle , a win 7 would be the one to use
- edited January 2016I was having the same issue but I installed CD3Setup.exe instead and it works. I do see the CD button in the toolbar when I launch CC3+
Update: I realized that a lot of CD functions are not working properly and hi-res bitmaps are not installed. I'm still troubleshooting it. - check the size of the installer file , if its 2,073,859,664 bites then Ralf issued an alternative which was 2,074,873,280 bites when we were bug testing as the fist had a few hiccups with the install
Rob - @suntzu: CD3SetupForCC3Plus.exe is 2,074,283,152 bytes.
- ok , just redownloaded and tested , i got the exact same error as you , the file size is exactly the same as yours , i will drop Ralf a line to see if he has any info
Rob - @suntzu: that's great. I sent Ralf some logs. It seems the error is due to a missing .Net Framework dll but I have no idea on the cause of it.
- Ralf does have the file i am in the process of uploading it so he can then download and make it available for others
Rob - @suntzu: and it works! I was able to install CD3 for CC3Plus in crossover (Win 8 bottle) without a glitch. Thanks a lot for all the hard work making the fix.

- @jjs11: I suggest you email support and refer to this email thread. They are pretty good at replying.
- yes you will need to contact ralf for the alternate cd3+ setup file

- I had to start over with my CC3+, and when I redownloaded the CD3 setup file for CC3+ it turned out to do the same thing that was described here. It also had the same file size of2,074,283,152 bytes. Am I missing something or is there some special file that I need to download to install it on my Mac within crossover? Thanks in advance for any help.
- i resent ralf the mac setup file a little while ago , this file has the size of 2,074,873,280 bytes and has a little tweek of crossover (wine) , please contact profantasy directly
