With Motorola I simply login to my account and download whatever I need. I looked around on Kenwood's site but couldn't find any kind of customer portal. Also, I don't see a way to check for updates using KPG-D1N or KPT-300LMC. Oh, and when my company when with Motorola it irked the local Kenwood guy. Asking for his help really isn't an option. Hi all, A cautionary tale learned via firsthand experience. Had my programming laptop die recently, with KPG-D1N activated on it. Didn't even think twice since I don't do that much Kenwood programming but when I went to activate the software on the new laptop, I realized that I had left it activated on the old PC and had as such essentially lost the license.
